For the 455th day, the Nazi Zionist occupation continues to escalate all forms of genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement against our people in the Gaza Strip, during which it has used the most heinous methods of sadistic criminality, brutal terrorism, bombing, random destruction and fascist revenge, with the full support and partnership of the US and British administrations and some other Western countries, in a flagrant violation of all international laws, UN charters, heavenly laws and human values, so that this Zionist aggression remains a witness to the most heinous crime committed against a defenseless people seeking freedom and demanding independence, and a historical shame on the foreheads of all those who participated in it and those who were negligent and silent about criminalizing, condemning and stopping it
One of the most heinous systematic crimes committed by the Zionist occupation during the 15 months of its ongoing aggression was against the health sector in all the governorates of the Gaza Strip, especially in the north; through brutal aggression, direct targeting, deliberate bombing, systematic destruction, the use of the siege weapon, preventing the arrival of medicine, fuel, and medical supplies, and obstructing the arrival of medical and ambulance crews, in an attempt to destroy this system and kill, exterminate, and displace our people.
The latest of these Zionist crimes against the health system in Gaza was the storming of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, setting it on fire, and putting it out of service permanently. The occupation is trying hard to continue the policy of destroying the health system in the Gaza Strip—to eliminate the remaining two hospitals (Al-Ahli Baptist hospital and Al-Wafaa hospital) that are still operating with their modest capabilities and minimal services in Gaza City, in an effort to eliminate all aspects of human life and force the residents to flee
Before committing their crimes against hospitals, the Nazi occupation army and its fascist government used to falsely, misleadingly, and shamelessly claim that the hospitals in the Gaza Strip contain military centers and weapons warehouses, that the resistance fighters are hide inside and use civilians as human shields, and that the Zionist prisoners are being held there. This is nothing buta a ridiculous justification for the extent of their horrific crimes and sadistic massacres against civilian buildings, medical staff, patients, and displaced persons. These blatant lies have been refuted by numerous human rights organizations and international media reports
against the health system in the Gaza Strip
During the past 24 hours, the Zionist occupation has brutally escalated its horrific massacres against unarmed civilians in their homes, shelters, and tents, carrying out more than 34 raids and heinous crimes throughout the Gaza Strip, during which more than 105 martyrs were killed, including the Director General of Police in Gaza, Major-General Mahmoud Salah, and his aide Major-General Hussam Shahwan, a member of the Police Command Council, as the occupation continues to spread chaos, deepen the human suffering of our people, and take revenge for their legendary steadfastness, perseverance, and patience in the face of the Zionist war machine
On the first anniversary of the assassination of the martyred brother, Mujahid Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, Abu Muhammad, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of the movement and leader of the movement in the West Bank, we reiterate that a movement that presents its leaders and founders as martyrs, while they are united with their people in the trench of defending the land and the holy sites, will never be defeated. On this path, the head of the movement’s Political Bureau, the Mujahid brother Ismail Haniyeh, was also martyred, then the Mujahid brother Yahya Sinwar, and before them, the Imam Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Dr. Rantisi and a long list of martyrs from the leaders and the movement's members and our people
In light of the continued escalation of the Zionist occupation's aggression and systematic crimes against our people and against the health system in the Gaza Strip, and the continuation of the security campaign launched by the Palestinian Authority against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms the following
*First:* Hamas continues its efforts to communicate with various countries, international groups, and regional charitable organizations to follow up on the tragic humanitarian situation in Gaza in light of the ongoing crimes of the occupation. These contacts aim to work to alleviate the suffering of our people, break the humanitarian siege, and secure and deliver the necessary needs to confront the tragic circumstances, especially in the face of the cold winter season, as well as preparing and arranging for relief and sheltering for our people immediately upon reaching a ceasefire agreement
*Second:* Indirect negotiations will resume today, Friday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, and the movement confirms, as every time, its seriousness and positivity and its endeavor to reach an agreement as soon as possible that achieves the aspirations and goals of our steadfast and patient people, the most important of which is stopping the aggression and protecting our people in light of the genocide and ethnic cleansing practiced by the occupation. This round will focus on the agreement leading to a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip and the details of its implementation, and the return of the displaced to their homes from which they were forced to leave across Gaza
We emphasize to the media the necessity of not dealing with information and leaks from unknown sources, which are published by some parties with the aim of confusing, increasing pressure, and confusing our people
*Third:* In the occupied West Bank, and in light of the continuation of the security campaign launched by the Palestinian Authority forces in Jenin for its 13th day, in which they besiege Jenin camp, target our people, and pursue the resistance, we affirm the following
This campaign is a complete national crime, in which these forces practice siege, deliberate killing, arrest, torture, and abuse against our people
We warn of the danger of this encroachment on our society and the future of our cause, as these practices only serve the occupation and its malicious plans to end the resistance in the West Bank and complete the annexation and displacement plan
3. We renew our call to raise the voices, make every effort, and put pressure on the leadership of the Palestinian Authority to stop these practices that are not from our norms and values, and to direct its compass to protect our people, land, and holy sites from the brutality of the occupation and settlers
*Fourth:* We renew our condemnation and denunciation of the Palestinian Authority’s decision to close the Al Jazeera office, and we affirm that it is a blatant violation of freedom of the press and in harmony with the occupation’s plans in its war against Palestinian journalists, in light of its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, and we call on it to immediately reverse this decision
In this context, we condemn the assassination of journalist Shaza Al-Sabbagh by the PA security forces in Jenin camp and warn of targeting the Palestinian journalists in our society and its repercussions on our national cohesion. We renew our call to all national factions and human rights groups to condemn and reject this unpatriotic behavior and work to protect the Palestinian journalists and strengthen their noble message and provide them with a safe environment that protects them from murder, persecution, harassment, and arrest
*Fifth:* The crimes of the Zionist Nazi occupation against the health system in the Gaza Strip are part of the war of genocide that is committed against more than two million Palestinian citizens and constitute a form of collective punishment and brutal revenge for the legendary steadfastness of our people in the face of the Zionist war machine over the course of 15 months
*Sixth:* The destruction of hospitals and medical centers protected under international humanitarian law, and the persisting in the crimes of killing, arresting, and abusing medical personnel and the ambulance system, constitute a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of all international laws and UN charter. These crimes would not have occurred without the international silence and inaction in putting an end to the Zionist criminality
*Seventh:* We hold the US administration, a partner of the occupation in its crimes and the war of genocide against our people, legally, humanitarily, and morally responsible for its support of the occupation and providing protection to its army from accountability and trial and granting it political, diplomatic, and media cover while it practices the most heinous crimes known in modern history against our Palestinian people, against civilian facilities protected under international law, and against the sick, wounded, and displaced
*Eighth:* We call on the international community, with its countries, organizations, and human rights and humanitarian institutions, to expose and criminalize the occupation's violations against hospitals and to exert all pressure to immediately release all doctors and medical staff and all detainees from our people who were kidnapped from hospitals
Here, we hold the Zionist occupation completely responsible for the safety of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and all nurses and paramedics who were arrested after being kidnapped by the occupation army, in light of reports of their exposure to abuse and ill-treatment
*Ninth:* We renew our demand for the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross to take serious action and not to succumb to the pressures and dictates of the occupation, and to send UN missions and international observers to all hospitals in Gaza, and to impose a protection regime on hospitals and medical centers, and to prevent the occupation from continuing its crimes and consolidating its false propaganda against them. > Muath Al Fudailat: We stress the need to pressure the occupation to allow visits to prisons and detention centers where our prisoners and detainees are subjected to the most heinous forms of torture, abuse, and brutal revenge, and to take serious action to conduct independent investigations into all these crimes and violations and to work to hold their perpetrators accountable in international courts
*Tenth:* We call on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, the World Health Organization, and all humanitarian groups around the world to assume their historical responsibilities and take the initiative to send field hospitals in all specialties and force the occupation to urgently bring in medical supplies, fuel, and medicines to save hundreds of thousands of patients, wounded and displaced persons
