The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the Biden administration’s positions on the International Criminal Court’s decision to arrest the head of the fascist Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his former Minister of War, Yoav Galant, and send them to prison for committing war crimes against our people, including genocide, forced displacement, starvation, thirst, and deprivation of medicine.
The Democratic Front said: The shameful positions of the United States in defending war criminals in Israel, in addition to its obstruction of Security Council resolutions regarding stopping the war in the Gaza Strip, demonstrate the truth of the United States’ intentions and its desire to destroy the global system and its international institutions, in the United Nations, International Justice, the International Criminal Court, and international agencies and institutions, to replace it with a global system led by the force of war, killing, and siege, relying on military alliances in Asia, Europe, and Latin America in blatant hostility to all principles of true democracy and the right of peoples to live on their land in peace, security, and stability and to develop their economy and national wealth.
The Democratic Front called on the international community to defend its international institutions, confront the policies of the United States, and thwart its bloody projects, in favor of an international system based on political pluralism, democracy, and respect for peoples’ cultures and traditions, and their right to choose their political systems in a way that serves their interests.
The Democratic Front stressed its support for the International Criminal Court, providing protection for it, and confronting all American and other pressures to disrupt its role and disrupt the decision to arrest Netanyahu, Galant, and anyone proven to have committed a war crime against our people
