To the journalists and press groups
The Media Office of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) sends you its greetings and expresses deep appreciation for your professional coverage in refuting the Zionist enemy’s false narrative that seeks tirelessly to obliterate the truth through targeting journalists deliberately. The occupation has so far killed 184 journalists, and continues to prevent journalists and international media outlets from entering the Gaza Strip to cover the war of genocide taking place there.
*The criminal Zionist enemy, devoid of all human values and morals, continues to escalate the genocidal campaign that it has been waging for 45 days in the northern Gaza Strip, which include all forms of genocide tactics, ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, starvation, complete siege, and horrific massacres committed daily against families in their homes and shelters, to force them to leave their land, in implementation of the Zionist notorious plan, known as the Generals' Plan.*
What is regrettable, in light of the horror of the genocide taking place in the northern Gaza Strip, is this suspicious international silence, which amounts to complicity with such unprecedented crimes in modern history, as these crimes and violations occur before the entire world. This also comes amid the paralysis of the political and judicial entities from taking their role in ending the aggression.
In light of these horrific crimes in the northern Gaza Strip and the ethnic cleansing campaign that has reached an unprecedented level of criminality and fascism under the cover of international silence and US complicity. And given the importance of the media role in conveying the truth of what is happening, exposing the crimes of the occupation, and forming the required pressure on the concerned international actors to end the aggression
The Hamas Media Office urges for intensifying the media coverage and the focus on what is happening in the northern Gaza Strip, and to double the efforts of conveying the humanitarian catastrophe there, the horrific massacres and the use of starvation as a weapon against the civilians to force them out of their homes and areas, in an attempt to liquidate our national cause.
As we call on our Palestinian people, our Ummah [Islamic world], and the entire world to continue and escalate their solidarity activities, such as marches, sit-ins, and demonstrations near the occupation’s embassies, we also emphasize the need to cover these events that take place in various cities and capitals of the world.
